van Winsen, Roel

Roel van Winsen is a researcher at Lund University, Sweden. He is employed as a graduate research/teaching assistant at Lund University School of Aviation. He holds a MSc in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Leiden, The Netherlands, and another MSc in Human Factors and System Safety from Lund University, Sweden. He has operational experience as an air traffic controller in training at ATC The Netherlands, Schiphol, The Netherlands. 

Research areas: Complexity thinking, philosophy (of science), social constructionism, cognitive systems engineering, and resilience engineering.
