Nyce, James M

James M. Nyce is a cultural anthropologist at Ball State University. He studies how information technologies emerge and are used in workplaces and organisations. He is a visiting professor in Lund University's Master's Programme in Human Factors and System Safety. A docent at Linköping University, Sweden, he is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Health and Environment, Faculty of Health Sciences there. He is also an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Radiology, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis. Nyce has been visiting professor in military technology and war science at the National Defence College, Stockholm, 1998-2000 and 2005 to present.
